Description
A dark tawny with mahogany in the center. A little damp rancidity, but typical Madeira oxidation shows cooked prunes and a touch of nuttiness. The palate is quite full-bodied and very rich, with an abundance of sweet, rich fruits, plums, dates and Agen prunes. There's also a hint of lemon zest and a bit of cinnamon goodness. The acidity is thin here, with grapefruit and lemon, but it is very well integrated into a harmonious wine, with a very long and spicy orange finish.
