Paul Bardinet, un jeune producteur de liqueurs de France, a commencé son voyage en 1857 en s'émerveillant devant l'alcool de canne à sucre des îles caribéennes. Déterminé à maîtriser l'art de la fabrication de rhum, il a exploré les îles des Caraïbes à la recherche de techniques et de secrets. Après des mélanges et des dégustations méticuleux, Bardinet a créé le rhum caribéen parfait : Negrita.
