Fait à partir de vins de Porto sélectionnés provenant des meilleures vignes, ce mélange offre une grande complexité provenant des vins les plus vieux, tandis que les vins plus jeunes apportent des saveurs de fruits frais et une acidité vibrante. Pendant sa longue période de vieillissement, les Portos Tawnies de vieillesse subissent des changements subtils de couleur, acquérant une teinte ambrée et transformant le fruit jeune et riche en élégance, montrant une texture soyeuse et des saveurs intenses et douces que seul le temps peut offrir.
