Krohn Colheita 1983 Les Vins de Porto Colheita sont probablement les Vins de Porto les plus appréciés et reconnus de Krohn. Les Portos de type Colheita proviennent d'une seule année de haute qualité, devant passer au minimum sept ans en bois. En règle générale, ils ne sont mis en bouteille qu'immédiatement avant d'être vendus, ce qui peut se produire longtemps après la septième année. Pour cette raison, nos Colheitas restent en bois pendant une longue période, et acquièrent au fil du temps une couleur acajou caractéristique des vieux millésimes, ainsi qu'un bouquet fin et complexe, des notes de noix et de noisettes et une texture soyeuse. Pendant le vieillissement en bois, ils sont soumis au contrôle qualitatif de l'Institut des Vins du Douro et de Porto. D'autre part, une fois en bouteille, ils doivent indiquer sur l'étiquette l'année de production et l'année de mise en bouteille. Le risque de former un dépôt au fond de la bouteille est faible, car celui-ci est resté, pour la plupart, dans le récipient en bois où le vin a vieilli. Une fois la bouteille ouverte, il n'est pas obligatoire de la consommer entièrement le même jour – il suffit de bien la reboucher, et elle peut être conservée longtemps dans ces conditions. Lors d'une prochaine ouverture, elle offrira au consommateur un arôme et une saveur de délicatesse pratiquement intacts.
