Il Rum Varadero 3 Anos è stato distillato, invecchiato e imbottigliato a Santiago de Cuba, culla della nascita del rum "moderno". Fondata nel 1862, è stata la prima marca e distilleria a produrre un rum invecchiato, nello stile che questa bevanda ha oggi. Creato nella distilleria più antica di Cuba, la "Nave Don Pancho", a partire dalla fermentazione e distillazione della canna da zucchero, con successivo invecchiamento in botti di rovere.
