Vinha da Ponte è uno degli appezzamenti più antichi di Quinta do Crasto con viti la cui età media supera i 90 anni. Nel 2007, la combinazione di basse produzioni da vigne vecchie e uve di alta qualità ha permesso di creare un vino di eccezionale concentrazione e complessità. Le uve sono state pigiate in un'unica pressa e trasferite in una vasca di acciaio inox a cielo aperto per la fermentazione a temperatura controllata. Dopo un invecchiamento di 20 mesi in botti di rovere francese, il vino Quinta do Castro Vinha da Ponte 2007 è stato imbottigliato nel giugno 2009 senza alcuna filtrazione, che potrebbe creare depositi in bottiglia.
