Vinificazione del Porto Kopke Colheita 1999: Il processo di produzione include l'interruzione della fermentazione del mosto mediante l'aggiunta di acquavite (beneficio o acquartamento), l'assemblaggio dei vini e l'invecchiamento. Fermentazione in lagares con macerazione pellicolare e rimontaggi a una temperatura di 29ºC fino a raggiungere il Baumé desiderato, aggiungendo in questa fase l'acquavite. Vino di alta qualità proveniente da un'unica vendemmia. Affina in legno per periodi di tempo variabili, mai inferiori a 7 anni, e viene successivamente imbottigliato in base alle richieste di mercato.
