Morgado de Sta. Catherina è un punto di riferimento per i vini Arinto della regione di Bucelas, trasportando l'eredità secolare dei grandi vini bianchi della regione. La storia del Morgado de Santa Catherina, che includeva la Quinta da Romeira, risale al 1703, anno in cui fu istituito, adempiendo alle intenzioni di D. Catarina de Bragança, regina consorte d'Inghilterra. Vino proveniente da uve del vitigno Arinto, dai vigneti della Quinta da Romeira, con vendemmia manuale. I mosti hanno fermentato in vasche di acciaio inox e in botti di rovere francese. Le percentuali sono state opportunamente regolate, in modo da permettere che il legno si integrasse bene, senza compromettere la freschezza, gli aromi e i sapori caratteristici dell'Arinto. Durante gli 8 mesi di affinamento in botti di rovere francese, si è promosso l'integrazione del vino con il legno, ricorrendo alla battonage. Dopo questo periodo, è stato eseguito il blend finale, affinando in vasca di acciaio inox fino all'imbottigliamento.

Bocca molto ampia, con volume, in perfetto equilibrio con un'acidità atlantica. Rimane aromatico in bocca, incorniciato dall'affinamento in botte. Il suo finale è persistente.
Frutti a polpa gialla, dove spicca la nettarina matura, e complessità aromatica, conferita dalle note dell'affinamento in botte
