Proveniente de vinhas com idades entre os 40 e os 80 anos (com uma média de 60 anos), localizadas nas zonas de Olmedillo, Roa, La Horra, Moradillo, Pesquera e Peñafiel.Vinificação: Vindima manual em pequenas caixas de cerca de 15 kg. Seleção meticulosa das uvas, primeiro na vinha e depois na mesa de seleção na adega. Estágio de 16 meses em barricas de carvalho francês de primeiro uso.

Na boca, é carnudo e fresco, com complexidade e potência, mas ao mesmo tempo fino e elegante. A estrutura tânica é sedosa e perfeitamente equilibrada com a acidez e o álcool, deixando uma persistência prolongada no paladar.
No nariz, revela-se surpreendentemente aromático, com uma combinação de notas de flores azuis frescas sobre fruta vermelha madura, e subtis toques de chá, café e especiarias tostadas/fumadas.
