Vinificación del Vino Quinta do Cardo Vinha do Castillo Tinta Roriz Tinto: Hecho de uvas de la variedad Tinta Roriz, plantadas en la viña del Castillo, a una altitud de 780 mts, parcela que sufre grandes amplitudes térmicas, transmitiendo a las uvas carácter y un estilo muy propio. Las uvas fueron cosechadas y seleccionadas a mano, transportadas a la bodega donde fueron despalilladas y pisadas a pie. Fermentó durante 8 días a temperatura controlada de 26ºC. Estuvo en crianza durante 22 meses en barricas de roble francés.

En boca es lleno de vitalidad, frescura y gran volumen. Sin duda el vino que mejor expresa el “terroir” de la Quinta do Cardo.
Exuberante y lleno de complejidad, con notas vegetales de resina, hojarasca, aire fresco del bosque y fruta roja (cereza) todo envuelto en mucho balsámico.
