De color rubí intenso y aroma de gran armonía y complejidad, con fuerte presencia de frutos rojos muy maduros, matices florales de lavanda y violeta, y un excelente componente especiado. En boca es voluminoso, tiene una acidez viva y bien integrada, con taninos muy presentes y de excelente calidad. A la fruta roja, aún fresca, se unen notas especiadas y balsámicas. El final es muy largo y complejo.
