Desde 1952, Casa Ferreirinha, cuyos orígenes se remontan a 1751, vela por la elaboración de vinos del Duero con la misma filosofía de elaboración y calidad que sus vinos de Oporto. El nombre Quinta da Leda está estrictamente reservado a vinos que, procedentes exclusivamente de uvas producidas en esa propiedad, cerca de la desembocadura del río Côa, presentan la más alta calidad en todas sus características organolépticas y muestran capacidad de evolución en botella. Color rojo intenso con tonos violeta-violeta. Aroma de gran intensidad y riqueza, en el que destacan mermelada, frutos rojos muy maduros, resina, balsámicos y especias. La madera noble de roble aportó gran complejidad durante su periodo de maduración. Final muy largo, delicado y duradero.
