Description
Deep purple color with a fine purple rim. The nose presents very fine and pure black fruits, a fusion of aromas of black cherry, cassia, and blackberry jelly with notes of chopped mint, an ethereal fragrance of violets, and notes of ripe tropical fruits. The year added an extra layer of purity and refinement to Fonseca's subtle and complex fruity character, as well as its attractive minerality. On the palate, it is supported by vibrant acidity and firm tannins that provide structure, but also texture and volume. The tastes of fresh fruits remain until the finish. A finely crafted and perfectly balanced Vintage Port.
