Vinificação do Charme Niepoort Tinto:O ano agrícola de 2023 começou extremamente bem, com um inverno húmido, que foi muito oportuno para reabastecer as reservas de água após um ano extremamente seco. A primavera foi relativamente quente e seca, seguida de um verão que pode ser classificado como normalmente quente. A vindima em Vale de Mendiz teve início sob condições extremamente quentes no dia 24 de agosto tendo a última entrada de uvas ocorrido no dia 26 de setembro. Os cachos inteiros foram levemente pisados em lagares de granito. O período mais importante neste processo de vinificação é o de tempo da maceração pré-fermentação e o início da fermentação alcoólica, onde a extração é muito curta, mas intensa. A fermentação do Charme é inicialmente feita em lagares e, em seguida, o processo é concluído em barricas. Estagia em barricas de carvalho francês durante 15 meses.
