O Vajra-Barolo DOCG Bricco Delle Viole Tinto 2022 é um vinho ícone do Piemonte, feito com 100% Nebbiolo a partir de vinhas centenárias no cru Bricco delle Viole, em Vergne di Barolo (altitude ~400–480 m, solo argilo-calcário). Com 14% de álcool e contendo sulfitos, passa por longa maceração (30–40 dias) e envelhecimento em grandes toneis de carvalho de Slavônia por 42–48 meses, seguido de estágio em garrafa. De cor rubi brilhante, apresenta no nariz aromas complexos de violeta, rosa seca, cereja, especiarias e notas balsâmicas e minerais; em boca é elegante, bem equilibrado, estruturado e com taninos sedosos, final persistente e grande finesse. Muito bem pontuado por críticos (96 a 98 pontos), tem potencial de guarda até 2048 ou além, embora já possa ser degustado hoje com decanter apropriado. Temperatura ideal de serviço: 18 °C, perfeito com carnes vermelhas, cassoeulas ricas ou queijos curados.
