Taylor's Tawny 20 Years is a magnificent and delicately constituted batch of old tawnies, produced in limited quantities. Selected red Port wines, produced in the eastern areas of the Douro Valley, including Taylor's own farms, are aged in oak casks in Taylor's cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. There, the cool and humid climate allows for a gentle aging process, producing aromas of great complexity and delicacy. In the Tawny 20 Years, the fruit ends up becoming more velvety than in the 10 Years and the spicy and dried fruit aromas, given by aging , are more powerful and intense.
