Periquita Classic RedProduced only in years of particular quality, Periquita Classic is a selection of the best wines made from the Castelão grape. With Periquita Classic, the style of the Periquitas from fifty years ago was revived, when the grapes were fermented with stems and the temperature was little controlled. This wine was aged in used wooden barrels for 24 months. To this day, Periquita Classic has been produced in the vintages of 1992, 1994, 1995, 1999, 2001, and 2004. Currently, we have resumed this wine and this brand with the 2014 vintage.
