Viticulture : Un terroir unique au monde, au milieu de l'océan Atlantique, à la base de la montagne volcanique du Pico, les vignes sont plantées dans les fissures de la roche, au bord de la mer, où l'on entend le "chant du crabe", car c'est ici qu'il y a le plus de soleil et de chaleur. Une proximité de, parfois, quelques mètres qui oblige à la protection de la vigne par des murs (courrals), des vents forts et salins de l'Atlantique. Vinification de l'Arinto dos Açores d'António Maçanita : Vendange manuelle sélective en paniers de 20 kg, pressurage de grappes entières, soutirage après 12h vers des cuves de fermentation horizontales de 600-1000L. Élevage : 10 mois sur lies fines.
