O Altesino Brunello di Montalcino Tinto 2020 é uma expressão clássica e refinada da Sangiovese grosso cultivada nas várias parcelas do território de Montalcino — incluindo Altesino, Castelnuovo dell’Abate, Macina e Pianezzine — e envelhecida por aproximadamente 30 a 36 meses em grandes barris de carvalho eslavo. Apresenta uma cor rubi intensa com bordas granadas, enquanto no nariz sobressaem aromas de violetas, frutas silvestres (cereja, amora), ervas doces, couro polido e notas de laranja e baunilha. No paladar, é saboroso e de corpo médio a cheio, com textura aveludada, taninos finos e acidez viva que confere equilíbrio e energia, além de um final longo e persistente. A colheita foi universalmente elogiada com pontuações em torno de 95 pontos por críticos como Jeb Dunnuck, Robert Parker e Decanter, e figura entre as melhores desta geração, com potencial de envelhecimento recomendado entre 2026 e 2046.
