O Quinta da Devesa Vinhas Velhas Tinto 2017 é um vinho excecional do Douro, elaborado a partir de um field blend de mais de 20 castas autóctones provenientes de vinhas com mais de 70 anos. As uvas são colhidas manualmente e vinificadas com pisa a pé em lagares de granito, seguindo-se um estágio de 12 meses em barricas novas de carvalho francês e americano, e um mínimo de 12 meses em garrafa. Apresenta uma cor rubi intensa e aromas complexos de frutas negras maduras, notas torradas, baunilha, cassis, morango maduro, cereja e especiarias doces, com um toque subtil de pimenta de Sichuan. Na boca, é suculento, frutado, bem equilibrado, com taninos firmes e suaves, e um final persistente.
