Vinha Grande è un vino rosso del Douro, classico e intenso, con un carattere ben marcato, che riflette tutta la ricchezza e la qualità della regione nella creazione dei migliori vini assemblati. Vinha Grande fa parte della gamma di vini di Casa Ferreirinha, la casa con la più grande tradizione di vini di qualità nel Douro e una delle sue maggiori referenze nel mondo. È vinificato nella moderna cantina Quinta do Seixo, a Cima Corgo,. e a Quinta da Lêda, nel Douro Superior, con tecnologia raffinata. Dopo una pigiatura e diraspatura soffice, le uve vengono inviate in tini di acciaio inox dove avviene la fermentazione alcolica con lunghe macerazioni. Durante questo periodo vengono effettuate estrazioni delicate utilizzando il sistema di macerazione esistente, riassemblaggio tramite pompa e/o robot di calpestio a temperatura controllata.
Profondo rosso
Presenta buona acidità e volume, con la presenza di tannini maturi e di buona qualità, rivelando un aroma speziato con frutti neri e aromi balsamici. Finale lungo ed elegante.
Buona complessità aromatica dove possiamo trovare aromi balsamici come cedro, scatola di sigari, frutti rossi e neri (prugna), qualche spezia (pepe nero) e cacao frutto di buona maturazione
