Nucleo in mogano chiaro circondato da un ampio bordo oro pallido con sottili riflessi olivastri. Alla prima impressione, il vino è etereo, ma presto inizia a dispiegarsi strato dopo strato di aromi multidimensionali. Le prime ad emergere sono note di legno segato e foglia di sigaro, su uno sfondo di cedro, balsamo e agrumi. Segue un profumo morbido e vellutato di marzapane, noci e caffè, con sentori di uva sultanina e prugna e note speziate di pepe nero e cardamomo. Infine, il naso si apre in una discreta dimensione salata, con note di pane tostato ed erbe selvatiche. In bocca il vino ha una consistenza morbida e vellutata. Ricco, denso e sontuoso, riveste la lingua con un opulento e meraviglioso sapore di caffè e caramello con note di noce e scorza d'arancia candita, ma con una notevole freschezza data dalla corrente di vivace acidità che percorre il palato fino al lunghissimo e finitura straordinaria.
