Bodegas Mauro è stata fondata nel 1980 da Mariano García in omaggio a suo padre. I vini prodotti da Bodegas Mauro si caratterizzano per essere equilibrati, eleganti e sensuali, con grande attitudine all'invecchiamento. Sono noti anche per esprimere le caratteristiche dei vitigni utilizzati e del terroir in cui si trovano, rispecchiando la visione dell'enologo. Bodegas Mauro è stata la prima azienda vinicola della famiglia García nella Valle del Duero, seguita da San Román Bodegas y Viñedos, nel 1997, nella Denominazione di Origine Toro, e completata con Garmón Continental, un progetto esclusivo nella Ribera del Duero, iniziato nel 2014. tre le proprietà affrontano lo stile di viticoltura basato sul rispetto delle singolarità di ciascun territorio, che costituiscono una particolare filosofia enologica.
