Oltre alla sua notorietà nella produzione di vini dell'Alentejo, l'Adega de Borba ha una grande tradizione nella produzione di acquaviti, utilizzando e selezionando le migliori masse viniche di uve rosse tradizionali della regione di Borba. Le masse viniche selezionate per questa acquavite sono il risultato della pressatura di uve fermentate che hanno originato vini prodotti in tino inox. Le masse sono distillate in alambicchi di rame nella distilleria propria, rispettando rigorosamente temperature e tempi di distillazione con precisione, garantendo eccellente qualità e genuinità nei diversi alcoli che compongono l'acquavite. Invecchiata per 10 anni in botti di rovere francese 'limosin', mostra eccellenti caratteristiche di colore, struttura e affinamento aromatico. Colore dorato vivo. Aroma intenso, complesso, fine e vellutato di mandorla e frutta secca.
