Il Whisky Maker's Mark è prodotto attraverso un processo artigianale, contiene nella sua composizione grano invernale, mais e orzo, che gli conferiscono un sapore morbido e meno piccante rispetto agli altri. Prima che il bourbon venga messo nelle botti, il legno viene lasciato all'aria aperta per un minimo di 9 mesi, per rimuovere i tannini amari del legno e migliorare il sapore di vaniglia. Viene invecchiato dopo circa sei anni.
