Akashi Blended Sherry Cask Finish é um whisky criado por Mikio Hiraishi, o proprietário e Master Blender da destilaria Eigashima, anteriormente chamada White Oak.Uma mistura de whiskies de grão de várias origens e 30% de whiskies de malte destilados em Eigashima, Japão, todos os whiskies foram envelhecidos em barris de carvalho americano durante pelo menos três anos, sendo depois maturados durante 6 meses em barris de xerez, os famosos barris de vinho andaluz.

No paladar, a textura suave e aveludada é acompanhada por aromas especiados e amadeirados e notas de frutos secos, típicas dos whiskies maturados em barris de xerez. Esta maturação complementar sente-se no final bastante longo e elegante, onde as notas amadeiradas se entrelaçam com as notas vínicas do xerez.
Este blend tem um perfil rico e gourmet, expressando notas de baunilha, damasco seco e casca de laranja no nariz.
