Colore: rosso porpora intenso e brillante. Aroma: netto e molto intenso, con note di frutta nera, come cassis, prugna e mora, sfumature di viola, grafite, menta, chiodi di garofano, terra umida, cedro e rovere sottile. Gusto: in bocca è delizioso, denso, corposo e concentrato, con tanta frutta nera matura, tannini granulosi, ma dalla trama levigata, deliziosa freschezza, molto equilibrato e persistente. Abbinamenti: Piatti saporiti a base di carni rosse, selvaggina, pasta con sughi scuri e intensi, formaggi a pasta semidura o dura.
