Il Quinta dos Murças VV47 proviene da una vigna storica, la vigna verticale più antica del Douro, piantata nel 1947, con esposizione sud-est e pendenza del 40%. Rappresenta l'espressione massima del nostro terroir e del suo potenziale, caratterizzato dalla sua eleganza, armonia e complessità. Vinificazione del Vino Quinta dos Murças VV47: vendemmia manuale, tavolo di selezione, diraspatura, pigiatura, fermentazione alcolica con lieviti indigeni a temperature controllate (25º a 28ºC), in lagares di granito con uso della pigiatura a piedi e pressatura in una vecchia pressa verticale. Affinamento: in botti di rovere francese usate per circa 12 mesi.

Di grande armonia ed eleganza, si distinguono i tannini maturi molto fini e la sua acidità equilibrata. Presenta un finale molto lungo e persistente che, nel suo insieme, permette di prevedere una grande longevità.
Molto complesso e intenso, dove dominano i frutti rossi più maturi e gli aromi balsamici caratteristici delle vigne più vecchie.
