O BORGES CXL è prodotto a partire dalle migliori parcelle di Touriga Nacional, provenienti dalla Quinta da Soalheira, nel Douro, e dalla Quinta di São Simão da Aguieira, nel Dão.VINIFICAZIONE E IN invecchiamento:Disgaggio totale delle uve. Breve macerazione pre-fermentativa seguita da fermentazione in macerazione di 6-8 giorni a temperatura controllata 26-28ºC con rimontaggi relativamente frequenti. Dopo la fermentazione alcolica è stata effettuata la separazione del vino dalle masse con cui ha fermentato e si è realizzata la fermentazione malolattica. Tutto il vino ha affinato in botti di rovere francese da 225 e 300 litri per una media di 18 mesi. Ogni botte che compone il vino Borges TN TN 140 è stata selezionata intenzionalmente per ogni caratteristica unica del vitigno e dell'anno.

Limpido di colore rubino profondo.
In bocca si mostra potente, intenso, ma delicato. Rivela tannini ben presenti con un'acidità perfetta, creando un insieme senza pari, ricco, completo, con un eccellente volume. Il finale è lungo, elegante, avvolgente con una longevità e un potenziale di invecchiamento sorprendenti. È così un'esperienza e una scoperta organolettica, costituendo un vero nettare, che riflette l'anima delle due regioni di origine, trasformando il tutto in un vino singolare e irripetibile.
Aroma molto intenso e giovane, unito a un profilo aromatico seducente. Si distinguono deliziose note di frutta viva, avvolte da altre di composta casalinga di frutta rossa, sottilmente unite a un delizioso aroma di vaniglia e spezie.
