Descrizione
Arancio dolce e limone al naso, luminoso e vivido. Quasi cristallizzato. Accenno di resina e abete rosso nel finale, un po' di legno. Al palato presenta molte note immediatamente riconoscibili come Herno gin. Il sapore è un po' tagliente, un po' agrumato, sentori di frutti di bosco e cannella burrosa. La metà del palato è dove le note di invecchiamento di Hernö Juniper Cask Gin iniziano a prendere forma, assumendo una forma quasi inaspettata: segatura fresca, odore di legno fresco dal negozio di ferramenta, un po' legnoso, diventando resinoso e pino con un po' di legno bruciato e sigaro. Un carattere molto interessante, molto diverso dalla maggior parte dei gin invecchiati. Il finale è lungo, con più note di resina, linfa di pino e frutta acerba. Wow, un sapore e abbastanza inebriante.
