Lo Chateau Petrus del 2004 con sfumature prugna/rubino scuro ha un'elevata acidità, oltre a abbondanti quantità di ciliegie dolci e ribes nero mescolate con note di cola, terra e tartufo. I sapori profondi, di medio corpo, concentrati e maturi sono estremamente decisi e tannici. Questo Pomerol retrogrado, strutturato e muscoloso richiede un decennio in cantina, ma ha il potenziale per essere il vino più longevo dell'annata, durando 30-40 anni. Maturità anticipata: 2017-2035.
