Vinificazione del Quinta do Cardo Grande Reserva Bianco: Dopo la pressatura delle uve, il mosto ha fermentato in barriques da 500 litri, nuove e usate, di rovere francese. È seguito un anno di affinamento sulle fecce totali di fermentazione. La Quinta do Cardo è la più storica proprietà vitivinicola della Beira Interior, situata tra il paesaggio protetto della Riserva Internazionale del Douro e il villaggio storico di Castelo Rodrigo, a un'altitudine di circa 750 metri. I suoi 180 ettari di superficie ospitano foreste, querce da sughero e circa 80 ettari di vigneto, certificati dal 2009 nel modo di produzione biologico. La tenuta è un ecosistema accuratamente preservato che promuove la biodiversità e lo sviluppo della fauna e flora autoctone e contribuisce alla creazione di vini genuini, con un forte senso di terroir.
