Vinificazione del Vino Quinta do Cardo Vinha do Castello Tinta Roriz Rosso: Fatto con uve della varietà Tinta Roriz, piantata nella vigna del Castello, a un'altitudine di 780 metri, questa parcella subisce grandi escursioni termiche, trasmettendo alle uve carattere e uno stile molto particolare. Le uve sono state raccolte e selezionate a mano, trasportate in cantina dove sono state diraspate e pigiati a piedi. Ha fermentato per 8 giorni a temperatura controllata di 26ºC. Ha affinato per 22 mesi in botti di rovere francese.

In bocca è pieno di vitalità, freschezza e grande volume. Senza dubbio il vino che meglio esprime il “terroir” della Quinta do Cardo.
Esuberante e pieno di complessità, con note vegetali di resina, lettiera, aria fresca del bosco e frutta rossa (ciliegia) tutto avvolto in molto balsamico.
