IL VINO 1872 Quinta da Foz Touriga Nacional 2020, si distingue nella lunga storia di Quinta da Foz come una data immortale, perpetuata nell'iscrizione su una pietra sulla facciata della casa principale, che segna la fondazione della Quinta. Per celebrare un lavoro eterno e rendere omaggio agli uomini e alle donne che si sono dedicati alla cura delle vigne nel corso di questi secoli, abbiamo creato un vino speciale ispirato a questa eredità. Raro, patrimonio, con una personalità storica, ci racconta la lunga tradizione di Quinta da Foz. Per questa edizione speciale è stato preparato con cura un blend realizzato esclusivamente con il vitigno regina, la Touriga Nacional. Questo vino nasce dalla scelta dei migliori ceppi Touriga Nacional delle nostre vecchie vigne.
Il cuore del cespuglio è profondo.
Buone note di carattere vegetale che ricordano la vigna e il suo terreno. In bocca ha buon volume, tannini rotondi e giovani. Finale fresco, con presenza di tannini giovani.
Profumo intenso con sentori di frutta e note floreali molto mature. Con legno presente ma ben integrato e discreto, risultando in un insieme molto complesso con note dolci, alcune spezie, mantenendo vive le note floreali della varietà.
