Incógnito nasce dallo spirito innovativo e inquieto di Carrie e Hans Jorgensen. A Cortes de Cima, il terreno 9C è il primo vigneto Syrah piantato in Alentejo. Quando nel 1991 Hans Jorgensen piantò le viti con innesti provenienti direttamente dal Rodano, in una zona di terreno calcareo in cima ad una collina, non aveva idea che il vigneto avrebbe prodotto un vino che avrebbe segnato la regione e i vini di Alentejo Questo vino è stato prodotto esclusivamente dal vitigno Syrah. Le uve sono state rigorosamente selezionate affinché fossero in ottimo stato di maturazione. Sono state fermentate senza raspi, a temperatura controllata, e regolari delestage, con un lungo periodo di macerazione delle bucce per migliorare l'aroma del frutto e raggiungere un buon equilibrio e struttura tannica. Invecchiato per 8 mesi in botti di rovere francese (90%) e rovere americano (10%) fino all'imbottigliamento.
