L'Azienda Vinicola José de Sousa Rosado Fernandes esiste dal 1878 ed è stata acquisita da José Maria da Fonseca nel 1986 per realizzare l'antico sogno di produrre vino nell'Alentejo, in una proprietà ricca di prestigio e storia Situata a Reguengos de Monsaraz, questa è qui che rimane viva una tradizione iniziata dai romani più di 2000 anni fa. La cantina José de Sousa possiede 114 anfore di argilla, dove si pratica un metodo di fermentazione ancestrale.
