La Quinta de Covela pratica agricoltura biologica su terreni granitici che formano un anfiteatro naturale con diverse esposizioni solari. Uno scenario di terrazzamenti coltivati a bassa altitudine sulla riva destra del fiume Douro. Inverno freddo ed estate calda e secca - al confine tra il clima mediterraneo della valle del Douro e l'influenza marina del Douro Litoral. Raccolta manuale. Trasporto in piccole cassette per evitare schiacciamenti. Selezione manuale dei grappoli. Pressatura delicata. Fermentazione in vasche di acciaio inox con controllo della temperatura. Affinamento sulle fecce fini fino a metà febbraio 2020. Leggera filtrazione prima dell'imbottigliamento.

Molto giovane ed espressivo, già rivela una buona complessità. Spiccano i frutti arborei come la mela e la pesca. Sottilmente si può trovare un lato tropicale marcato dall'ananas
