Alla Quinta do Monte Xisto i primi due mesi dell'anno sono stati molto secchi. A marzo la pioggia è arrivata con forza, continuando più moderata in aprile e maggio, intensificandosi nuovamente a giugno, il che ha permesso di ripristinare i livelli di acqua nel suolo. A luglio e agosto si è verificato un aumento abituale delle temperature, seguito da un inizio settembre fresco. È stato un anno abbastanza equilibrato, permettendo un buon sviluppo della vite. La vendemmia è iniziata il 7 settembre.
