Rum El Dorado è un rum unico, perché è l'unico rum nello stile “Rum Demerara” e possiede gli alambicchi in legno più antichi del mondo ancora in funzione, alcuni risalenti al XVII secolo. Un eccezionale rum ambrato premium, leggermente corposo e invecchiato in botti ex-bourbon. El Dorado 8 Year Old è il risultato della conoscenza dei Master Blenders, composto da rum invecchiati provenienti da almeno quattro dei tradizionali alambicchi in legno conservati presso la distilleria Demerara, tra cui l'originale alambicco Coffey in legno Enmore e il doppio alambicco in legno Port Mourant . Questo rum è una fusione complessa di rum corposo e dal sapore pieno con un rum più morbido.
