Situata ad Alenquer, Quinta do Monte D'Oiro è conosciuta fin dal XIX secolo. XVII come luogo privilegiato per la produzione di grandi vini. L'obiettivo del produttore José Bento dos Santos, noto comunicatore e promotore della gastronomia e del vino, è quello di produrre vini di alta qualità in stile europeo, rispettando il terroir esistente, una combinazione unica di suolo e clima. Nel vigneto Monte D'Oiro sono piantati i vitigni Syrah, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Petit Verdot e Viognier, con i quali il produttore ha prodotto alcuni dei vini più acclamati in Portogallo e nel mondo.
In bocca colpisce per la trama vellutata dei tannini, la botte finemente integrata, vigore ed eleganza vanno di pari passo nel finale deciso e molto lungo.
