Vale D. Maria produce vini unici sin dalla sua prima imbottigliamento nel 1996. La nostra visione del Douro è che ogni angolo di questa regione, a causa della variazione del paesaggio, del clima e delle varietà di uva, ha il suo carattere proprio. Riconosciamo il valore del terroir nella Quinta Vale D. Maria per la produzione di vini con un'identità unica. Per i nostri vini di Porto, abbiamo sempre considerato ogni imbottigliamento come qualcosa di singolare. Seguendo questa filosofia, abbiamo cercato nelle vecchie cantine della Valle del Douro alcune delle ultime botti di invecchiamento di Colheitas molto antiche. Nel tempo, abbiamo avuto l'opportunità di acquisire alcune botti residue di anni selezionati, che abbiamo conservato con cura come una delle nostre collezioni più preziose. Abbiamo iniziato a rivelare questa nostra collezione con il Vale D. Maria Old Tawny Colheita Porto 1969. E ora, è il momento di continuare con qualcosa di sorprendente, un raro Porto Branco invecchiato, il Vale D. Maria Old White Porto Colheita 1940.
