Viticoltura: Un terroir unico al mondo, nel mezzo dell'oceano Atlantico, alla base del monte vulcanico del Pico, le viti sono piantate nelle fessure della roccia, vicino al mare, dove si sente il “canto del granchio”, poiché qui c'è più sole e calore. Una vicinanza di, a volte, pochi metri che obbliga alla protezione della vigna con muri (recinti), dai venti forti e salini dell'Atlantico. Vinificazione del Maçanita Terrantez do Pico Bianco: Vendemmia manuale selettiva in cesti da 20Kg, per lo più dall'isola del Pico e una piccola percentuale da São Miguel. Pressatura dell'intero grappolo, travaso dopo 12h. Prime pressature fermentate in vasche di acciaio inox con controllo della temperatura per mantenere la purezza del vitigno e seconde pressature fermentate in botte di 3° anno (30%).
