È uno dei grandi Domaines della Borgogna, e del mondo. Molto si deve a Charles Rousseau, che prese le redini del Domaine dal 1959 in poi, in seguito alla prematura scomparsa del padre. È stato lui a far conoscere al mondo questo fantastico Domaine e i suoi vini. Oggi è Eric Rousseau, suo discendente, a guidare le fortune del Domaine, seguendo le orme del suo predecessore. Domaine Rousseau possiede circa 13,5 ettari di vigneti.
