Ottenuto dall'antica riserva di famiglia, raccolta, distillata e invecchiata esclusivamente in botti, conservate da Pierre Frapin e dai suoi discendenti, per questa quarta edizione del blend multi-vintage, Olivier Paultes ha scelto l'anno 1982 per il suo stile Rancio con note ossidative di frutta secca e castagne (noci, nocciole), spezie, legno e cera; l'annata 1983 dal carattere fruttato che, nonostante l'età, risulta polposo e carnoso; e, infine, il 1985, che crea eleganza e finezza, armonizzando e accentuando le annate 1982 e 1983.
