Morgado de Sta Catherina è un riferimento per i vini Arinto della regione di Bucelas, portando con sé l'eredità secolare dei grandi vini bianchi della regione. La storia del Morgado de Santa Catherina, di cui faceva parte Quinta da Romeira, risale al 1703, anno in cui venne fondato, realizzando le intenzioni di D. Catarina de Bragança, regina consorte d'Inghilterra Il vino proviene da uve Arinto, dal Vigneti Quinta da Romeira, con raccolta manuale. I mosti fermentano in vasche di acciaio inox e botti di rovere francese. Le percentuali sono state opportunamente aggiustate, in modo da permettere al legno di integrarsi bene, senza compromettere la freschezza, gli aromi e i sapori caratteristici dell'Arinto. Durante gli 8 mesi di affinamento in botti di rovere francese, l'integrazione del vino con il legno, mediante battonage . Trascorso questo periodo è stata eseguita la vinificazione finale, affinando in vasche di acciaio inox fino all'imbottigliamento.
Giallo citrino con leggere sfumature dorate
Bocca molto ampia, di volume, in perfetto equilibrio con l'acidità atlantica. Rimane aromatico in bocca, incorniciato dall'invecchiamento in botte. Il suo finale è persistente.
Frutti a polpa gialla, dove spicca la nettarina matura, e complessità aromatica, conferita dalle note dell'affinamento in botte
