Callabriga è un vino rosso del Douro dal profilo contemporaneo, intenso ed elegante, creato per riflettere la versatilità e l'attualità appassionante dei vini del Douro. Callabriga è uno dei vini più innovativi della Casa Ferreirinha, il marchio con la maggiore tradizione in vini di qualità nel Douro e una delle sue maggiori referenze mondiali. È vinificato nella cantina della Quinta da Leda, a partire da uve provenienti da parcelle situate nella Quinta e da vigne limitrofe. Vengono scelte uve con maturazione equilibrata, conseguenza di un ciclo vegetativo favorevole. Dopo la diraspatura e una leggera pigiatura, le uve vengono indirizzate verso vasche in acciaio inox e/o lagari, dove si procede a macerazioni prolungate. Si intende con questa tecnologia che i costituenti della qualità, presenti nelle pellicole delle uve mature, passino così dolcemente nel vino.
