Questo vino è un esempio notevole dello stile Noval. Ha un trattamento esattamente uguale al Vinho do Porto Vintage: proviene solo da uve nobili della Quinta, uve pigiate a piedi e non è filtrato. Ciò che lo distingue è il fatto che invecchia quattro o cinque anni in botti, invece di due anni come il Vinho do Porto Vintage. È senza dubbio un LBV distinto, con tannini molto ben strutturati, grande freschezza e purezza di frutta. È delizioso da bere ora, ma invecchierà magnificamente in bottiglia.
