L'anno 1999 è stato uno dei più generosi per la qualità dell'uva Moscatel a Favaios. Le uve hanno raggiunto una concentrazione straordinaria permettendo di creare questo Moscatel pieno di aromi caratteristici del vitigno. Dopo una selezione accurata delle migliori uve di Favaios, sono state macerate e fermentate come tradizionalmente nella regione. La fermentazione alcolica è molto breve, e subito dopo la risalita del cappello si procede alla svinatura della maggior parte del mosto e all'aggiunta di acquavite. Una piccola parte del mosto continua a fermentare e a macerare con le bucce per alcuni giorni, e solo più tardi si procede all'acquavite di questo mosto molto ricco aromaticamente. Il primo e il secondo mosto acquaviti vengono poi miscelati e conservati in botti di legno molto vecchie dove il vino invecchia lentamente migliorando il suo bouquet nel corso di decenni. I lunghi anni di invecchiamento in legno hanno aiutato a sviluppare e complessificare ancora di più il profilo aromatico del vino così come il suo palato. È un bellissimo esempio dei migliori Moscatel prodotti sull'altopiano di Favaios. EDIZIONE LIMITATA

Al gusto il vino mostra la dolcezza tipica del Moscatel di Favaios molto ben equilibrata dall'acidità caratteristica dell'altopiano.
Presenta aromi caratteristici del vitigno come arancia e mandarino. È anche molto marcato dagli aromi di miele, uva passa, fichi secchi e caramello che gli conferiscono grande complessità.
