Questa grande vendemmia è iniziata con una primavera complicata e un'estate difficile, piena di dubbi ma di una feroce determinazione a non arrendersi e ad ascoltare la vigna, e attento alle tue esigenze. Poi, dal 25 agosto, giorno dopo giorno, è tornato il bel tempo e la fiducia è tornata. Finalmente arrivò ottobre, dorato, caldo, magnifico. Ciò ha permesso di posticipare di qualche giorno la vendemmia delle vecchie viti di Merlot e attendere che il Cabernet Franc raggiungesse la piena maturazione. Il naso è molto puro, elegante. L'attacco è preciso e la struttura diventa gradualmente più potente, raggiungendo un equilibrio molto raffinato tra la magnifica qualità del frutto e l'eleganza del palato. Tannini, carnoso, tensione e freschezza. La presenza del 50% di Cabernet-Franc nel blend evidenzia l'eleganza della struttura tannica e dona al vino un finale molto raffinato.
