A un livello di qualità di ingresso nella gamma di vini della Real Companhia Velha, da molti anni l'Evel mantiene una solida reputazione. Il vino Evel è prodotto dalle vigne situate nelle famose Quinta do Casal da Granja e Quinta do Cidrô, situate nei comuni di Alijó e S. João da Pesqueira, rispettivamente. Vinificazione del Vinho Evel Reserva Tinto: Prodotto da parcelle di vigne vecchie, la fermentazione avviene in vasche di acciaio inox, con controllo della temperatura. L'intero vino invecchia per 12 mesi in barrique nuove di rovere francese, a Vila Nova de Gaia.
